The SFH Trust is an independent, not-for-profit organisation, based in Oxford, U.K. committed to the promotion of community-based responses to health challenges in developing countries.
The main focus of the SFH Trust to date has been the AIDS epidemic and related issues, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. We are the publishers of the 'Stepping Stones' training package, of the 'Called to Care' toolkit (3 titles published so far), of films such as 'The Orphan Generation', 'Open Secret' and 'What can I do?' (about the HIV ministry of Canon Gideon Byamugisha in Uganda).
We have just produced a new book and film, both entitled 'United Against AIDS: the Story of TASO', which document how TASO (originators of the phrase 'living positively with HIV/AIDS') in Uganda has grown from a small group of volunteers to an organisation with national outreach and an international reputation for excellence.
